Boca Raton Roof Replacement Timeline: Day-by-Day
Once the Palm Beach County permit is issued, most Boca Raton roof replacements move quickly. Here is the typical day-by-day for a single-family home.
Day-by-Day
- Before day 1 — Permit & materials. Permit approval runs 2–4 weeks; materials are staged the day before.
- Day 1 — Tear-off & dry-in. The old roof comes off, the deck is inspected, and the secondary water barrier goes down so the home is watertight by end of day.
- Days 2–3 — Installation. Shingle roofs are usually finished in 2–4 working days; concrete or clay tile takes longer because of loading, layout, and fastening.
- Final day — Cleanup & final inspection. Magnetic nail sweep, debris haul-off, and the county final inspection.
Tile roofs typically run 1–3 weeks end to end depending on size and profile. Boca Raton is in Palm Beach County (not legal HVHZ), but we build to HVHZ specification, which adds the secondary water barrier and enhanced fastening steps above.
